CONOCIENDO NUESTROS DERECHOS

Ayer, 29 de Noviembre de 2010, mientras media España estaba paralizada viendo el tan nombrado clásico (Barça-Madrid), comenzaron las Jornadas que imparto sobre los Derechos de las mujeres en España y que he titulado "CONOCIENDO NUESTROS DERECHOS. Análisis de la situación jurídica de la mujer en España desde la II República hasta nuestros días". El ambiente inicial se desarrolló en un clima muy agradable y participativo, tal y como yo pretendía, por lo que me fui muy satisfecha a casa. Aunque es imposible tratar un tema de este calibre sin hacer alusión a artículos, Leyes y diferente normativa, tanto europea como nacional, mi objetivo principal era que, lejos de memorizar estos preceptos (los cuáles ya incluí en un soporte físico para que los puedan consultar cuando deseen) provocando tedio en el público asistente, las participantes comprendieran el verdadero espíritu de la Ley, "ratio legis" y darles la perspectiva histórica de la lucha por la igualdad de sexos para que comprobasen lo ridículo y sangrante de muchas de las normas anteriores, las acciones dirigidas a cambiar ese disparate jurídico y así poder valorar los Derechos actuales. Ayer estuvimos viendo los avances y retrocesos en la lucha por la consecución de la tan anhelada igualdad desde la II República, destacando anécdotas y curiosidades en las regulaciones anteriores. El próximo día (mañana) entraremos de lleno a valorar la situación jurídica actual de la mujer en España, haciendo especial referencia a las "nuevas" leyes de Divorcio y Aborto, los Derechos de las mujeres embarazadas y de las víctimas de violencia de género, así como el Plan Estratégico de Igualdad de Oportunidades 2008/2011.
